Lionel Messi Escapes Jail



According to reports, footballer Lionel Messi recently escaped being jailed for 6 years over tax fraud.

It was revealed that he has paid off a debt of about £4.2 million to Spanish authorities which made him risk a 6 year jail term after being accused in June for filling a false tax returns.

He and the father who were accused of the fraudulent act by the Spanish authorities.

He has been scheduled to appear at a hearing on September 17, but his lawyer has pleaded that the date be changed because of his clients engagement on that day.

Moyes officially began his job as United manager today, marking the start of a new era for United following the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson in May.
