Burna Boy Taken Off MTN’s ”Ghana Meet Naija” Show

Fast rising singer Burna Boy was among the shortlisted artistes to perform at the recently concluded Ghana Meets Naija concert which went down last night in Accra, Ghana.
However, the “Like to Party” singer was taken off the list of performing acts at the just concluded MTN Ghana Meets Naija concert because of his deal with Glo.
Burna Boy was scheduled for the show before his multi-million naira endorsement deal with Glo.

British Billionaire, Richard Branson To Meet With Nigerian Leaders To Discuss Gay Rights

The joint 3rd richest Briton and chairman of Virgin Group, Richard Branson has shown his discontent at the bill passed by the Nigerian government against gay rights Richard Branson says on his Twitter page that he will be in Nigeria soon and that he wants to meet with Nigerian leaders to discuss on the latest law on gay and to encourage compassion.   Branson will also be visiting other countries with strong laws against gay people, including Uganda. He wrote; Last month I spoke out on the dreadful situation in Uganda, where MPs have passed a bill making homosexuality punishable by life imprisonment and not reporting gay people punishable by extremely strong jail sentences.  There were thousands of impassioned replies about the issue and it was good to raise awareness about such an important subject. Barcelona's Lionel Messi suffers hamstring injury recurrence

             Lionel Messi could miss the rest of Barcelona's season after suffering a recurrence of a hamstring injury in the 2-1 win against Atletico Madrid. The 25-year-old Argentina forward will have tests on the injury on Monday. Messi has struggled to regain full fitness since straining his hamstring during a Champions League match against Paris St-Germain in April. "He was bothered in the same area. He felt a strange sensation," said Barca boss Tito Vilanova of Messi's injury. Vilanova added that Monday's tests should reveal if the forward is to be out for "days or weeks".
