Manchester United winger Nani has revealed that recently appointed Old Trafford boss David Moyes persuaded him to sign a new five-year deal with the club.
But, as exclusively revealed earlier in July, Nani spoke with Moyes who convinced him his future was at Old Trafford, and the Portugal international is thrilled to have extended his stay with the Premier League champions.
"I am very content with my new deal at Manchester United," Nani told the Mirror. "This summer was not easy but after a lot of thought and talking to David Moyes I believe it was the best solution.
"I feel I can offer many things to United. I had other important offers but without a sufficient challenge to make me want to leave United.
"The coach would not guarantee me a place in the XI more than any other player. I know I must work hard to get into this team. That is my objective for this season."

The ‘kid’ in Wizkid
It
all started as a joke, he was simply somebody who nobody would give a
second glance. That era has gone. Today, he is an A-list act,
headlining shows, getting endorsement deals and basically, making
millions. He is called Wizkid.
No
doubt, the young lad has paid his dues as it were, for few years back,
nobody would have thought the ‘errand boy’ would grow to become this
big. Indeed, his talents and luck, shone and now, Wizkid is a superstar.
But it seems stardom is getting to his head.
Recently, the Internet was agog when the singer called a fan ‘broke’ for correcting a grammatical error he made.
The
singer posted on his instagram that he was about to perform at a
wedding with ‘an hangover’. The crime of the fan was telling Wizkid the
correct thing to say was ‘a hangover’.
His
reply angered fans who quickly reminded him that he was not born rich
and it was the ‘broke’ fans who made him who he is at the moment.
Wiz
hasn’t only been misbehaving online. The kid took his arrogance to
another height when he allegedly poured his drink on a fan in London.
Speculation
has it that all the fan did was to reach out to Wizkid to greet him.
Probably trying to impress an American hip-hop sensation, Wiz allegedly
called the fan, Oloshi (Idiot). The shocked American took to instagram
to talk about Wiz’s atiitude.
Although
the kid was lucky in London, luck ran out when he allegedly tried
ignoring fans who had been waiting to get a glimpse of him in Lagos.
This time the fans physically reacted to his arrogance.

Wiz was reportedly stoned by angry fans at the VFS Global Services,
Lekki Phase 1 over the his arrogant attitude and his refusal to part
with some naira notes despite the much accolades he got from the
cheering crowd who were so elated to catch a glimpse of him.
Apparently
our wonder boy was in a foul mood or perharps, he wasn’t given a visa
for he ‘boned’ and shunned the cheering crowd as he walked arrogantly
into the waiting Porsche Cayenne.
It
was gathered that Wizkid’s silence and arrogance got the cheering fans
angrier and they stoned him as he drove off. Unfortunately for Wizkid,
one of the stones hit his side mirror but he didn’t bother stopping
anyway.
At
the moment, not a few are angry with the kid and his attitude. Some
fans told Saturday Beat that it was high time they “boycotted Wizkid.”
Another
fan Reginald said, “Wizzy is just a kid and that is what he will be
until he grows up! Let’s keep praying he grows soon.”

Actress and movie producer Uche Jombo is building a massive house in the Lekki area of Lagos and this is authoritative. The house, which I hear is quite massive, is located around Alpha Beach Road after Lekki second gate opposite Chevron. Uche started building the house in Lagos sometime last year after building one in her village in Abia state. The house in Lagos is in the finishing stages now.
There's no pic of the house for now because like I said, it's not finished yet, but as soon as the house is completed, I will bring you exclusive photos. Congrats to Uche!

According to reports, footballer Lionel Messi recently escaped being jailed for 6 years over tax fraud.
It was revealed that he has paid off a debt of about £4.2 million to Spanish authorities which made him risk a 6 year jail term after being accused in June for filling a false tax returns.
He and the father who were accused of the fraudulent act by the Spanish authorities.
He has been scheduled to appear at a hearing on September 17, but his lawyer has pleaded that the date be changed because of his clients engagement on that day.

J Martins vs Wizkid
Last week, Wizkid told a fan 'that broke people always think they have an opinion' after the fan rudely corrected his English - a comment that angered quite a number of the pop star's fans.
Singer J Martins in a recent interview on a radio station reacted to Wizkid’s outburst, saying:
I'm not taking any side, don’t mean no beef, no disrespect, and no hate but let the truth be told. I don’t believe because you feel you have a few change you didn’t have a few years ago and which you cannot guarantee having in a few years to come then you wake up and look at those people who have cheered you up, loved you, supported your music, bought your CD’s, prayed for you, just because you can lay your hands on some phone and you call them ‘poor’.
I'm not in and will never be in support of anyone who has such bad attitude. It needs to be corrected, we owe our fans the duty of being good examples that’s why they hold us in high esteem, that’s why you are a role model and if you know you cannot be a good role model you have no business in Music. Iyanya signs $350k endorsement deal with Zinox (Computers) Group
Iyanya is chopping endorsement deals anyhow. First MTN, now Zinox Group. The Kukere crooner yesterday signed a three hundred and fifty thousand dollars one year endorsement deal with Zinox Computers. Zinox computers, which is Nigeria’s first certified branded computers, will upload all Iyanya's songs and videos to all their computers. Iyanya will also do a song for them and appear on Zinox billboards and TV commercials.

Justin Bieber in accident involving pedestrian
The singer-heartthrob was reportedly involved in an accident in Los Angeles on Monday night involving a pedestrian.
According to the Los
Angeles Police Department, officers responded to a collision at 8800
Sunset Blvd., in the famed Sunset Strip area of the city. According to TMZ,
as Bieber, 19, was leaving a local comedy club with rapper Lil Twist,
his Ferrari was surrounded by paparazzi, one of whom got pinned between
Bieber's car and another vehicle.
A preliminary
investigation showed that no crime was involved, the LAPD's Lt. Craig
Valenzuela said. He noted that there may have been initial concern that
it was a hit-and-run, but preliminary investigations indicated it was
not.

The pedestrian, who was unidentified, sustained some injuries but they were not life-threatening.
This isn't the first
time the singer has had driving troubles. Last month police twice
responded to reports that Bieber was speeding around his gated Southern
California community. Last July, he was involved in a high-speed chase
with paparazzi on an LA freeway. And in November he was cited for
making an unsafe left turn and having an expired registration.
On New Year's Day, the Ferrari was involved in an incident in which a photographer was run over and killed while crossing a busy street after taking pictures of the vehicle. Bieber was not present at the time.
A representative for Bieber had no immediate comment on the most recent incident.
