Troubled pop star, Justin Bieber has been urged to check into rehab for wrongful behaviour and drug abuse or may face deportation to home country, Canada.
The Baby singer is currently under investigation for an egg war he launched at his neighbour and his home this week. Plus, answer to a shocking police raid at his California mansion where his friend, Lil Za was busted for felony drug possession.
Now, reports say he has received the counsel from his closest friends and family to seek professional help. According to RadarOnline, "they are deeply concerned and want him to get help in the wake of a string of controversies."
There is however no confirmation yet as to whether the 19 year old singer has agreed to check into any facility.
The past 12 months alone has been filled with drug allegations, beginning in January 2013. But latest reports claim that if Justin fails to get help, he may probably be sent packing out of USA ...back to CANADA!

Serena Williams took time out from her hectic tennis schedule to star in a recent campaign for Australian lingerie brand, Berlei where she didn't care showing off her curvy figure and huge boobs in a variety of sports bras.
The world number one tennis player has been the brand ambassador of Berlei for two years and for her it was about telling readers of Elle Magazine[covering the shoot] how she works closely with brands Nike and Berlei to design her own on-court outfits.
Speaking about her favourite bra, Serena tells fans, "It's perfect for high-impact activity. Its super comfy, even when you’re working up a serious sweat." The sports star looked stunning as she mixes the accoutrement with both tennis attire and designer pieces; letting her hair coiffed in tumbling waves and gold themed makeup conquerors.
The star also goes on to share her on-court style secrets, saying: 'I love classic lines that are functional but work with my shape. This year is all about colour blocking, so this paved the way for the look. Bright colours, like blue and pink, were teamed with panels of black for a slimming yet bold look," she described one of her on going Australian Open outfits.
It seems like Serena takes her fashion almost as seriously as her tennis, citing Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana and Giorgio Armani as her favourite designers.

Indigenous Nigerian rapper, Phyno, has refuted reports which alleged that he was expecting a child from a female singer.
The report which was anonymously sent to media outlets, claimed that the rapper, had impregnated Rita Edmond, with whom he has been romantically involved with. The report also stated that Rita plans to carry out an abortion, much to the disapproval of Phyno, who sent her holidaying in Dubai for Christmas.
Speaking with Punch, Phyno however denied the existence of the alleged foetus, stating clearly that he has never had an acquaintance with Rita Edmond.
“Believe it or not, I’ve never met or spoken to anyone by that name. I haven’t made any woman pregnant either. If people need three seconds of fame I’m glad that my name could help.” he says.
Singer Rita Edmond didn’t share in the denial though, as she spoke in cryptic tones when contacted over the report. She admits to dating an unnamed rapper, but stopped short of confirming her alleged pregnancy.
“The only information I can give you is that I am in love with a rap artiste. I don’t want to mention his name. Since different stories are flying around, I am trying to understand where everybody got their story from. Of course, I had a vacation in Dubai and I am back in Nigeria.” She told Punch.
Popular belief has it though, that the report holds some water, and with Rita’s reply leaving much unanswered, the story has festered and grown.

Ghana Music Star Insults Nigerian President Over Anti-Gay Law

The outcry that has been raging over the Anti-Gay Law signed by the Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan seems to be irking all kinds of people including foreigners who think the country should not make homosexuality illegal.
Adding his voice to the dispute is one of Ghana’s most controversial artistes, Wanlov the Kubolor, an Afro hip-life musician.
The singer, who is notorious in his country for posting naked pictures on social media as well as getting into fights with other acts, posted the insult of his Facebook wall, describing the Nigerian leader as an idiot, as well as a cartoon depicting President Jonathan as being bad luck for Nigerians.
This is what he Wanlov the Kubolor wrote: “Nigeria, your president Goodluck Jonathan is an idiot of the highest quality...just thought i should inform you...carry on...”

Iyanya, Ghanaian President, Others React to BBC's Komla Dumor's Death

A wave of reactions have continued to trail BBC's Komla Dumor's sudden passing.

 

Reactions have continued to trail leading African journalist and British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) World reporter, Komla Dumor's death.
The Ghanaian native and 'Focus on Africa' presenter reportedly died of a heart attack at the age of 41 in his home in London yesterday.
Dumor joined the BBC in 2007 having won the Ghana Journalist of the Year award in 2003.
Leading the trail of reactions was Ghanaian President, John Dramani Mahama, who posted on Twitter, "Our nation has lost one of its finest ambassadors".
BBC's Global News Director Peter Horrocks said Dumor was "a leading light of African journalism".
Also Iyanya with whom Dumor had an interview last year also tweeted:
"Much respect and RIP to KOMLA DUMOR!! We had a chat the last time I was at the BBC house in London!! I was supposed to come back for another interview when I return back in February"
Dumor is survived by his wife, Kwansema and three children.

Nigeria gays: 20 lashes for 'homosexual offences'

A Nigerian man has received 20 lashes after an Islamic court in the northern city of Bauchi convicted him of homosexual offences.

Under Islamic law, courts can punish homosexual acts by stoning to death.
But the judge said he took into account that the Muslim man, Mubarak Ibrahim, 20, carried out the acts seven years ago, and had stopped the practice.
In Nigeria, homosexual acts are illegal under both Islamic and secular law and restrictions have been tightened.
Earlier this month, President Goodluck Jonathan signed into law a bill which bans same-sex marriages, gay groups and shows of same-sex public affection.

Most states in the predominantly Muslim north of Nigeria have adopted Islamic law, known as Sharia, since the end of military rule in 1999.
Along with Mr Ibrahim, 11 other Muslims and a Christian man were arrested last month accused by the authorities of being homosexuals.

He was also ordered to pay a fine of about $30 (£18).

Mr Ibrahim told the BBC he was relieved that Judge Nuhu Muhammad had been lenient on him and had not sentenced him to death.
The BBC's Ishaq Khalid was in court when Mr Ibrahim was lashed with a whip, made of animal skin smeared with oil.
Mr Ibrahim, who had pleaded guilty to the charge, was ordered to lie on a bench, and an official whipped his back in front of a packed courtroom, our correspondent says.
Mr Ibrahim screamed in pain while being lashed, but was able to walk afterwards, he adds.
The trial of two other men was adjourned to 23 January.
The fate of the nine other men arrested on the same charge is unclear but on Wednesday the Sharia Commission in Bauchi said the Christian would be tried by a "conventional court", not an Islamic court.
Nigeria is a deeply conservative country, with an influential Christian evangelical movement in the south and strong support for Islamic law among many Muslims in the north.
Hostility towards gay people has escalated since parliament debated the Same-Sex Marriage Prohibition Act last year, Dorothy Aken'Ova, a rights activist with the Nigeria-based International Centre for Reproductive Health and Sexual Rights, told the BBC.
She said that she was aware of 38 people being arrested in Bauchi state last month, and was trying to confirm reports of more arrests in both the north and south of Nigeria since the new law was approved.
"What this act is saying is that they [gay people] do not deserve to exist," she told the BBC's Focus on Africa programme on Wednesday.

British Billionaire, Richard Branson To Meet With Nigerian Leaders To Discuss Gay Rights

The joint 3rd richest Briton and chairman of Virgin Group, Richard Branson has shown his discontent at the bill passed by the Nigerian government against gay rights
Richard Branson says on his Twitter page that he will be in Nigeria soon and that he wants to meet with Nigerian leaders to discuss on the latest law on gay and to encourage compassion.
 Branson will also be visiting other countries with strong laws against gay people, including Uganda. He wrote;
Last month I spoke out on the dreadful situation in Uganda, where MPs have passed a bill making homosexuality punishable by life imprisonment and not reporting gay people punishable by extremely strong jail sentences.

 There were thousands of impassioned replies about the issue and it was good to raise awareness about such an important subject. It was saddening to read a handful of comments from people praising the new law, but most heartening to see so much support for the Ugandan gay community.

Some people questioned why I called for companies to boycott Uganda, while Virgin does business in other countries that have civil rights issues. I commented on the Uganda situation specifically because I felt the life imprisonment bill was so appalling I couldn’t stand by and do nothing, and still have hope the Ugandan Prime Minister won’t sign it into law.
Sometimes business leaders have more freedom to make controversial comments than politicians, and it is important to stimulate debate and challenge injustices – even if it hurts your business.
We are now working with Ugandan business people to put together a strong list of like-minded entrepreneurs and companies to appeal to the Ugandan Prime Minister to not sign the bill into law. In other countries where civil rights of individuals are being abused we are also working with like-minded business people to tackle this sort of discriminatory behaviour. Ideally, businesses and organisations should work with governments to try to change their attitudes from within countries.
I have spoken out against discrimination on many occasions, from supporting equal marriage to challenging Malaysia’s leaders on Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s trial. Next week I am going to meet government leaders from countries including Nigeria to discuss issues such as gay rights and try to encourage progress. We want to work with governments around the world – in countries we do and don’t operate in – to change attitudes for the better. Everyone should speak out to ensure people are free to love whoever they want.
Those politicians passing draconian laws against gay people may discover their own children were born gay. Would they really want to see them locked up for life? We need love and understanding not punishment.

US Rapper Wale To Release Documentary On His First Visit To Nigeria

Nigerian-born US rap star, Wale, is set to go live with a documentary which revolves around his African roots. The feature is titled, ‘I Am From (Mo Wa Lati)’, and will premiere on P Diddy’s Revolt TV on Monday January 20th, 2014.
The documentary revolves around the rapper’s first visit to Nigeria last year where he performed at the ‘Johnnie Walker Step Up To VIP " Drive Of A Lifetime Experience" concert, reunited with his family, visited a number of media houses, etc.

The lady who is a Sudanese-American author who wrote the controversial book, the ‘Sexiest Part of the Bible,’ who was born Naima Bint Harith, was once involved in a serious scandal some few years ago when she said that Osama actually held her against her will and repeatedly raped her which resulted in a baby boy but close friends of her who knew her with the late terrorist disputed her claims, saying she was actually Osama’s lover and slept with her willingly.
                A one-time Sudanese diplomat, Nadeem Quttub, who helped Bin Laden build roads in Sudan,          had    even told the BBC that “Kola Boof was with Bin Laden willingly and miscarried their child in May 1996.”
Quttub added that “Kola Boof accepted marriage with Bin Laden, re-converted to Islam and was very happy with the terrorist, but is now trying to save her reputation in the west with fantastical stories of rape and imprisonment.”

Kukere crooner, Iyanya in a recent interview with Encomium magazine gave an insight into why some Nigerian entertainers are forced to live large.

“Why do you think some artistes come come up with hit songs and find it difficult to maintain it?”
“Music is very expensive. Most of them make money and its had to put it back in the same thing. Your next money is not guaranteed because there are lots of artistes. If you say you wouldn’t do show A, they can take artiste B for that show. It doesn’t mean that because you have a hit song, you would be performing at all shows. It doesn’t work like that. So, some of these guys, its hard for them. Its hard for them to follow up. Follow up is the hardest thing to do. Many artistes make a hit but the money they make from that hit is not even enough for them to support or sponsor the next video. So don’t blame them’.
So they need a lot of money to remain relevant?
“Yes. Let me give you an instance. I had a show here in Lagos, I was in Dubai. They made a mistake and booked my flight for Monday and the show was on Sunday. We rushed to the airport, they said no that my ticket was for the next day. After much pleading and explaining that I had a show that night in Lagos, they said alright.
I could board but not business class since it wasn’t my flight. I had to fly economy class with my business class ticket. Sitting down there, people around where staring at me like what am I doing here. A woman even walked up to me and said “Iyanya, you no suppose dey here now, na the other side you suppose dey”. What came to my mind next was that I can’t just decide to fly economy today, it will become gist. I have to work hard, I have to make money, to live up to your expectations. It’s not like am living my life for you but its the life I chose. So, I have to do it”.

"The Other Woman" movie follows a woman (Diaz) who finds out that she is “the other woman” in an affair, and teams up with the man’s wife to get revenge on the cheating husband but not without some ‘interesting’ advise from Nicki Minaj – her assistant who is in her third marriage.
